Our school year is coming to a close fast. These last few weeks we have been doing a lot of different activities that are helping us to end our school year on a fun and positive note.
Our last chapter in social studies talked about the Rocky Mountians. Instead of taking a test, the students learned how to make a pyramid foldable. On this pyramid, they had to talk about important topics they took out of each lesson. Along with sharing me what they learned, they also incorporated a picture to go along with their information. Check them out! I am so proud of all of their hard work.
To end our school year in Language Arts, the students worked in partners to create a game for a specific unit. We also made board games in math as well. They all worked so hard on these! This gave them an opportunity to share their knowledge of specific units from throughout the school year. They had a blast with these games and we all enjoyed playing them. Check out their hard work on their games.
Today we had Principal of the day! Thank you to Owen and Alayna Deprez for such an exciting afternoon. They put together a wiffle ball tournament for grades four through six. We had such nice weather and it was great to see the different grades work hard together, while having fun!
